Power to the people & BEFSA Ten year anniversary

In other news I was really privileged to be invited to perform at the BEFSA ten year anniversary event at the Oxford Museum in Woodstock at the end of September. BEFSA  is a charity set up to provide Education in South Africa in the rural and township areas, to help reduce poverty through helping children have access to a good education and creating opportunities for those children’s future.

 

The event took place in beautiful, sunny (and autumnal) surroundings with lots of friends, volunteers and patrons of the charity turning out to help celebrate ten years since the founding of BEFSA. The event was also attended by Her Excellency Mrs Bongiwe Qwabe, UK Deputy High Commissioner; Cllr. Anne Purse, Chairman of Oxfordshire County Council; and Cllr. Julian Cooper, Mayor of Woodstock.
